St. Laurence's church in Corringham receives no funding from either the UK government or the Church of England. This means that all funds must be generated from worshipers, events and in-kind donations.
 

Did you know that it currently costs the church nearly £9,000 per annum to cover the cost of insurance, power and other essentials, but without insurance, the church is not allowed to open? This running cost does not include money for essential repairs and upkeep. 

If we are not able to raise the funds for the coming year, the church will have to be closed, once it is closed, it is very unlikely to open again. Please help with our efforts to raise funds to help the church pay for the bare necessities and remain open for everyone in the parish to enjoy.
